20 April - South Jordan, Utah - Oliver and Rachel DeMille's "The Ninth Key" Seminar at Paradigm High School. Donna Goff will join Mary Ann Johnson, "The Home School Coach;" and Nicholeen Peck of "Teaching Self Government," on the guest panel of veteran homeschoolers. For more information click here.
26 April- LDS-OHEA Conference in Beaverton Oregon. Donna Goff will present "The Well Furnished Mind"- a presentation on the tools and resources the Royal Academe offers to simplify moms efforts and magnify children's learning- Power of an Hour, Scholar Portfolios, Book of Nations, Book of Centuries, The Hope Chest Journey, Principled Theme Bundles, etc. Presentation (60 minutes)and; A (30+ minutes depending on the questions).
27 April- LDS-OHEA Conference in Beaverton Oregon. Donna Goff will give the Keynote address- "Why choose (or continue!) the Homeschool Journey." She will also give two other workshops that day:
* "How to have a clean home school!" Really, it's not an oxymoron! People exist who do both! And you can become one of them! Or at least learn how to be little better at it.
* "The many approaches to homeschooling." There are so many ways to homeschool. How do you know which is best for your child? How can you possibly choose? Come get an overview about many of them. You will feel more prepared to choose.
23 May- Orem, Utah. Donna Goff will give the presentations-- The Hope Chest Journey: A Return to Beauty and Grace, with additional thoughts on the Tool Box Journey: A Path to Raising Sons of Valor. This will be held at the Goff residence.
14-15 June- Utah Home Education Association (UHEA), held in Provo, Utah.
Donna Goff will be presenting two workshops:
* "Teaching to Your Children's Developmental Needs" (from pre-K to adult). This is key to avoiding child and parent burnout.
* "The Power of an Hour: A Gateway to a Classical Education," as simple as an hour a day.
